The states of consciousness a person enters with psychedelics are so foreign to the daily waking state that it often leaves them with more questions than answers. In my case, being a science-oriented individual with an inquisitive nature, it felt imperative to understand what those experiences indicated about reality. The pursuit of explanations set me on a path that includes a degree in Astrophysics, research of psychotherapy and neuroscience, the study of eastern and western philosophies, and becoming a certified psychedelic practitioner through The Third Wave’s Psychedelic Coaching Institute.
Although the knowledge I’ve gained is valuable, having a guide from the start to help me integrate my experiences would have made my path more efficient.
